In post-WWII France of 1946, French poet and experimental filmmaker, Jean Cocteau, set out to create a beautiful fairy tale. The result was La Belle et la Béte, a film that has since become an international cinematic classic.
Digital artist Michael Bergland has created a beautiful, Aurora-style,1:8 scale model kit featuring The Beast, as portrayed by Jean Marais, in his highly detailed, elaborate costume, and featuring a diorama base containing familiar elements from the film.
The base and back wall will be cast resin, the body, and the finer parts, will be 3D printed high quality resin.
